DGPLUG : Fedora Activity Day @BCREC

The Linux Users’ Group of Durgapur, dgplug, is conducting a Fedora Activity Day(FAD) in Dr. B. C. Roy Engineering College, Durgapur on the 14th of May, 2009.

This FAD aims at increasing FOSS awareness among the students of BCREC and to introduce them to the wide spectrum of things that they can do in Linux in their day to day life.

  1. Suggest that you also show how contributions can happen in the fields of documentation and localization. For example, reading the documentation for errors or, testing out the installation of a local language desktop are easy ways to begin. In fact, you could see if Desktop QA could be emphasized – the idea is to enable the participants to build up skills in QA while working on an upstream project.
